Leakbreaker Water Heater Shut off Valve
The Taco LeakBreaker® is a leak detection and water shutoff device to prevent extreme flood damage in the event of a water heater tank leak. Designed to detect a water leak and shutoff the incoming water supply to the water heater, or other water appliances that have a 3/4" (or smaller) connection. The valve can be installed in vertical or horizontal piping and in any direction or orientation. The LeakBreaker® is a “plumb and plug” system with resettable, testable capability. Components are connected with easy to use plug-in quick connects. The system is designed to have the batteries close the valve and sound an alarm in the event of a water leak during a power failure. LeakBreaker® is powered by batteries, AC adaptor or both, and includes auxiliary contacts for additional alarm activation. A multifunction LED on the control module identifies the current state of the LeakBreaker® and aides with troubleshooting. LeakBreaker® comes complete with full port electrically operated valve, control module, AC power adaptor, and floor sensor.
