For “B” Series J+ units with a hydronic coil, the contractor will need to purchase a sensor (a.k.a. thermistor) for the J+ unit to sense the HW coil temperature. This is the same thermistor that is included on the unit for cooling. Not only is that item a replacement part but in the case of J+ with Hydronic Heat it is a required accessory as well.
