The latest version, the AHRI-Certified ACDC12C is normally used to operate directly from solar panels without inverter or batteries, it can pull extra power, if needed when solar is not strong enough, from a connection to the customers normal power using a one-way grid tie.
The ACDC12C does not export power back to the grid, so no special meter or “net metering” is required.
It can also run at partial capacity during the day without any grid connection for example, during a power outage.
And depending on your tax situation, the ACDC12C may also be eligible for IRS tax credits.
The ACDC12C always includes the indoor unit, outdoor unit, 3M connecting line kit, and wireless remote control.
A complete kit including 3x solar panels, standard roof panel mounting hardware, etc. is also available for ordering.
