When the PXPCFA23030 cord is used, the air conditioner will produce 5.0 kW of electric resistive heat.
This power cord is designed specifically for Friedrich FreshAire 12,000 BTU PTAC units.
It cannot be used with 9,000 BTU unit. A 20 amp cord is included with all Friedrich PTAC FreshAire units.
