The evaporator can be matched to most types of remote condensing units and heat pumps. All coils are designed for both heat pump and cooling-only applications. The “E-Coated Coils” from Unico maintain all the same specs as our existing line of non-coated coils and live up to the rigid quality standards in place for our portfolio of category leading coil products. No longer is there the need for the distributor or contractor to have to subcontract coils to a third party to have a coil coated, or to provide this level of service to the end user. The portfolio of Unico E-Coated Coils is competitively priced and offers a tremendous value and savings compared to the added cost of having third parties provide the product on a “one-off” or custom basis. Unico has an “E-Coated Coil Option” available for all evaporator coil models in its current line. E-Coating improves the life of the coil by reducing the possibility of leaks and coil failures due to formicary corrosion.
