Friedrich PFAXWC1 Wired Intelligent Wall Thermostat for FreshAire PTAC Units
Description:
The Friedrich PFAXWC1 is a wired, wall mounted 12V controller / thermostat.
It is a non-programmable thermostat designed specifically for use with Friedrich FreshAire PTAC units.
FreshAire PTAC units must be paired with a compatible thermostat to gain all functions of the unit - most notable the variable speed compressor.
When paired with the FreshAire line your PTAC will be able to operate as a fully variable speed unit - as it was intended.
Other thermostats will cause the unit to operate at multiple speeds in either the cooling or heating modes.
The PFAXWC1 also features a digital display screen with easy to use soft touch push buttons.
Temperature can be set in F or C.
Control buttons include Mode (Cool; Heat; Constant Fan)
Fan (H / M / L)
Temperature (Up / Down) and power.
Can be used with the following heating/cooling applications:
Single Stage Heat - Cool PTAC Units
Single Stage Heat Pump PTAC Units with or without Electric Heat
It is a 12V thermostat.
